My goal is to build upon my academic training in conflict analysis and resolution, and development experience working with local communities in Panama and skills acquired with working with USAID in the U.S. to advance policies and programs that mitigate intractable conflicts and help communities transition toward resilient and peaceful futures through effective humanitarian response, food assistance, conflict mitigation and stabilization, democracy, human rights and governance programs.
