Whether you’re 3 months or 3 decades out of service, Peace Corps supports your job search and career development. This 4 day event starts by showing you how to be the best job candidate with hands-on workshops and ends with a career fair featuring approximately 50 employers.
Also, check out the networking mixer with RPCV/W and your RPCV community on Tuesday night (3/21) at Froggy Bottom!Add to Calendar 03/20/2017 08:30:00 03/24/2017 08:30:00 America/New_York DC RPCV Career Conference & Fair Check http://www.rpcvw.org/dc-rpcv_career_conference for the latest info. 1111 20th St NW, Shriver Hall, Washington, DC 20526, United States Peace Corps firstname.lastname@example.org
Due to the snow and the storm, we've decided to reschedule the speed mentoring event to 3/28, same time and place, 6:30 at Judy's restaurant.
Sorry to have to cancel but it seems like the best move to make sure everyone stays safe and we get the best turnout for the event.
I hope to see everyone on the 28th!
Feel free to shoot me an email if you have any questions.
Are you looking for your first job out of Peace Corps, a new job, or to switch to a new company or field?
Come by for our Speed Mentoring event!
Mentors will be available to help RPCVs with resume review and other career advice in short one on one meetings.
Participants found this format to be very useful last July and December, the structure is similar to having many informational interviews in a short amount of time.
We will have a short presentation about the mentoring program, followed by the speed mentoring event, with a happy hour after.
Expand your network, gain new perspectives for your career, and enjoy the extended happy hour!
Interested in a career working for an Emergency Management, DOD, or Humanitarian Aid? Join RPCV/W as we team up with the Peace Corps Office of the Third Goal to present a panel of RPCV’s sharing their experiences in the Emergency Management, DOD, Humanitarian Aid sectors followed by a Q & A session. This is an open event as long as you register on the RPCV/W website by 4/5; bring a friend!
There will be a Mentoring Happy Hour at the Black Rooster pub following this event.rsvp Add to Calendar 04/06/2017 17:30:00 04/06/2017 19:30:00 America/New_York Emergency Management, DOD, Humanitarian Aid Career Panel Check http://www.rpcvw.org/emergency_management_dod_humanitarian_aid_career_panel_career_panel_2017_20170406 for the latest info. 1111 20th St NW, Shriver Hall, Washington, DC 20526, United States Chad Ryerson email@example.com share
