Bio
Doug taught English in Soanierana Ivongo, Madagascar (one of the hardest places to pronounce) in the local public middle school and high school, occasionally assisting locals in the tourism industry and other teachers with their English. Doug is a journalist with 10 years of experience at newspapers, most recently with American Medical News. Doug also enjoys photography, live music and street food around the world. Doug is a Cincinnati native (Go Reds!) who moved to Washington, D.C. in 2006. He was the RPCV/w membership director last year and is working on improving the organization's web site this year.
