After serving in the Dominican Republic for 2 years as a Community Economic Development Volunteer, I worked in sustainable tourism for 2 additional years and have now been in DC for over 2 years as well. I love the area and being able to take advantage of the great variety of cultural, political, and volunteer opportunities available both in the city and via RPCV/W!
