Canned Food Collection at Safeway

Join RPCV/W as we partner with the Capital Area Food Bank to collect food at the Help Us End Hunger Food Drive! On Saturday, November 19th from 10am-2pm volunteers will table, pass out fliers, and help collect canned goods at three Safeway locations. A veteran volunteer or staff person will be on-site to offer training. No experience necessary. Minimum age 12 years old. Please arrive early to help set up.

There are three locations, all of which are metro accessible:
6500 Piney Branch Road NW, DC (5 spots).
1525 Wilson Blvd, Arlington, VA (5 spots).
909 Thayer Ave, Silver Spring, MD (5 spots).
