Represent Peace Corps at DC Pride

RPCVs needed to carry host country flags at the 38th annual Capitol Pride Parade
Join us in marching in the parade and carrying your host country's flag. There's only one for each country, so first come, first served.
If you have a particular flag you would like to carry, please email Sarah Blazucki with your name, phone and preferred country. There are 139 country flags (give or take), so it may be good to have a second choice. Please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org by Monday, June 3 if you’d like to participate.
Here is the route of the parade through Dupont Circle and ending at 14th and U streets:
Peace Corps won the award for The Harvey Milk Award for Public Sector Contingent in 2011 and 2012. Can you help them do it in 2013?
Volunteers also needed to staff the Peace Corps booth at the Festival
DC Pride Festival, Sunday, June 9, noon-7 p.m., Pennsylvania Avenue
Once again we'll be hosting a booth at the Pride Festival. If you would like to staff the booth, please contact Kelly McCormack at email@example.com
Be sure to wear comfortable shoes, and prepare to be in the sun for an extended period. Bringing water is highly recommended.
