On Saturday May 11, RPCV/W will be supporting the BEST Kids 5K Race and Kids' Fun Run. BEST Kids is a local organization that seeks to promote better futures for youth in the District of Columbia’s child welfare system by developing and supporting one-on-one mentoring relationships between the youth and caring, consistent adults.
To support their 5K, volunteers from RPCV/W will be helping hand out t-shirts, bibs, water, directing runners...all the great work that volunteers are needed for to make a race successful!
After the race, RPCV/W volunteers can go out to brunch after what will surely be a fun morning supporting the runners and walkers!
As the race organizers are depending on volunteers to make this a successful event, please register responsibly.
