Natalie, RPCV/W’s Vice President, wanted to honor her practice with a yoga mat that not only offers great performance, but supports her healthy lifestyle and the environment. “When you bring your best to your mat you’re probably also looking for accessories that support your healthy lifestyle. I first met Deb, the founder of Kiss the Sky, at a yoga retreat and I fell in love with the mats! Not only are they super grippy, they are sustainably sourced, can be recycled again and again, and unlike most yoga mats are petroleum free!”

Kiss the Sky is the only local company to make non-toxic mats that supports you and the environment. Originally developed at a D.C. EPA yoga class, these artisanal performance mats are/support:

Champion your commitment to Peace Corps ideals and look good doing it with a soft, summer tank or t-shirt

Whether at the yoga studio or around town, these soft, heather gray tanks and t-shirts are stylish and affordable. We know you care about continuing to support the Peace Corps ideals even once you return home, which is why a little reminder that “perspective is everything” goes a long way. The image was created by graphic designer, Angela Gast, with Mighty Creative and shirts were purchased from a local woman-owned business, Futura Embroidery & Promotional Solutions. 

Profits from the t-shirt and yoga mat sales directly support RPCV/W’s wide array of programming. We host monthly social networking events, professional development and mentoring resources, community service volunteer opportunities, and special events for our members. In addition to our member programs, our Partnership for Peace program, sponsors a local nonprofit that shares our goals and values. Our Partner for Peace receives a cash grant, volunteer support, and advocacy for their cause through RPCV/W’s social network. The organization is completely volunteer-run and fundraising allows us to ensure that we can sustain and grow our program offerings.
