Jenna Smith served as a Health Volunteer in Madagascar from 2015-2017 and has since been very involved with the Peace Corps Community. She was a member of the Northern California Peace Corps Association Board in 2018, the Event Manager for National Peace Corps Association's annual conference, Peace Corps Connect 2019 in Austin, Texas, and served on the RPCV/W Board during the year 2020 as the Special Events Director. Despite the RPCV/W’s major events being cancelled due to COVID-19 in 2020, Jenna kept busy with adjusting the RPCV/W event strategy to a virtual format, writing about RPCV/W businesses in the COVID Community Support blog, and working with RPCVs across the country on the National RPCV Racial Justice Initiative. 

Her day job is event planning at a global health organization. Prior to moving to DC from the San Francisco Bay Area, she traveled extensively, lived in Paris, France, and Punakaiki, New Zealand, and attended, volunteered at, and planned events around the world.
