Wendy was an agroforestry volunteer in Paraguay. Some of the major projects Wendy worked on included incorporated green manure into organic sugarcane, worked with schools to promote tree planting and taught the importance of water quality in Santa Catalina, Colonial Independencia. Wendy was a MI student and did her thesis on the Riparian zones of the Ybytyruzu mountain range. The thesis can be found

Wendy is currently an Adjunct Professor at Prince George's Community College teaching courses in Environmental Biology.
