RPCV/W Represented at national conference
Boston was the site of the 2013 Peace Corps Connect annual conference, bringing together representatives of the community from all over the country to meet and and share ideas on promoting the third goal. The RPCV/W delegation included President Mariko Schmitz, Social Director Courtney Dunham, PR Director Chris Robinson, and Board Member Emeritus Arvis Layton. They met with RPCVs and group leaders from as far away as Hawaii.

RPCV/W tradition honors JFK on his 96th birthday
Since 1985, RPCV/W has held a simple ceremony of remembrance at the gravesite of John F. Kennedy, founder of the Peace Corps. This year, we choose May 29, 2013, which would have been his 96th birthday.
Nominations are open for the 2013-14 Board of Directors.
Each summer, RPCV/W holds its Annual Meeting as stipulated in its bylaws. All RPCV/W Members and their guests are welcome at this catered event. This year, our Summer Barbecue will be held at the National Zoo on June 22 from 12 - 3pm.
