- Secretary: Responsible for keeping accurate records of meetings and maintaining important documents. This position ensures that communication flows smoothly within the board and with the community.
- Business Development: Focuses on strategies to grow our organization, including fundraising and partnership opportunities. This role is vital for expanding our reach and impact in the community.
- Social Events Director: Organizes RPCV/W social events and collaborates with Cultural Events and other Directors to manage upcoming gatherings. This position is key to fostering connections and creating memorable experiences for our members.

The Peace Corps Virtual Career Fair will take place on Thursday, October 24^th, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. EST, using our Brazen career fair platform. Attendees will be able to attend webinar-style sessions, which allow candidates to ask employers any questions they may have and/or submit their resumes. Peace Corps and Brazen will be on standby throughout the duration of the Virtual Career Fair to assist with any technical difficulties.

Enjoy the crisp fall weather while gardening at Ida B Wells Middle School! Join us for City Blossoms School Garden Workday on Saturday, October 26, and give back to the local community. Please RSVP here AND complete the volunteer waiver in advance. 

About the space: Ida B Wells is a middle school partner through City Blossoms School Garden Partners program. This is one of our newest garden sites, and through this partnership, our team will help maintain their living outdoor classroom and exploration area for teachers and students to utilize throughout the school year. Students, parents, and the school community are regularly able to access this garden for after school garden clubs, during school lessons, and community celebrations.

RPCV/W members are cordially invited to attend a Halloween Barn Party at our dear friend Leah's (RPCV Panama) 150-year-old barn near Luray, VA (Approx. 2 hours driving from DC). Dress up as a Famous Character and hope to see you there! Camping is encouraged!  If you plan to attend, please RSVP here by Saturday, October 19th and more event details including the address and ride coordination will be shared approximately a week prior to the event.

What’s the Tea? Let’s Sip and Share!

Join us for a brew-tea-ful brunch on Sunday, November 17th from 11am-1pm at a cozy home in Woodley Park! This is more than just a tea tasting—it’s a chance to reconnect, share stories, and reminisce about the teas you discovered during service. Bring a tea you loved abroad or one you enjoy now, and we’ll brew up something special together.

We’ll have multiple tasting rounds, brunch treats, and plenty of good vibes. Feel free to bring a sweet treat, and if you have a favorite mug, bring it along too!

When you purchase a pie, you provide a full day's worth of home-delivered, nutritious meals for a neighbor in need.
