    Cookbook Club Discussion at Bold Fork Books: An Evening with Pat Tanumihardja

    Join us for a festive evening celebrating Indonesian cuisine at Bold Fork Books on January 22, 2025, at 7:00 pm! 📚🍴

    Author Patricia Tanumihardja will discuss her cookbook Mortar and Pestle alongside Brinda Penmetsa. Enjoy a special tasting of Indonesian flavors prepared by Detri Biyanandita of Kopi House.

    Tickets are $15 for the talk and tasting or $45 for the book.

    Join us for a community-driven townhall on January 25, 2025, from 4:00 - 6:00 PM at 529 G St SE, Washington, DC. This event will create a space for RPCV/W members to process the uncertainty and stress many are feeling due to recent changes in administration.

    The first part of the townhall will focus on reflection, followed by organizing into action groups based on interests like mutual aid, political action, community service, learning, and social justice. Bring your perspectives, worries, or passion, and help us take collective action for a better future.

    Space is limited to 30 participants, so please register to secure your spot!

    Pizza will be provided by the RPCVW Social Inclusion committee. Donations are welcome.
