In Botswana, I worked as a science, math and agriculture teacher. I began my leadership role as a Science Department Chairperson. Since then I have worked in public, charter, and college preparatory schools educating students from every economic strand. In 2013-2014, I worked in the National Science Foundation as an Albert Einstein Distinguished Educator Fellow. In the same year, also worked for NASA as a Master Teacher for the Global Precipitation Measurement (GPM) mission. I am a Presidential Awardee of Excellence in Science Teaching emeritus. I am currently a public school STEM teacher leader.
