The Dominican Republic (90-92) is where I served as a Community Health Technical Advisor. I am now a writer/editor, primarily covering topics in health, human rights, and sometimes travel. I have a master's degree in public health as well as an Editing Specialist, TESOL, and TOEFL certificates. I taught in Turkey and edited textbooks in South Korea. I currently live in the DC metro region.
