Please join us for a special RPCV night at the Mosaic Theater on November 21st at 8pm to see the Obie Award winning play, Milk Like Sugar. The show details “powerful young women on the brink of maturity that ‘balances street with sweet, to entertaining and illuminating effect.’” Immediately following the 1 hour, 40-minute play, there will be a post-show discussion entitled “Mentoring, Empowering and Nurturing” featuring Joe Weedon, Executive Director of Companies for Causes, and Jonathan Burns, 100 Black Men and Bethany VanKampen, RPCV Costa Rica. Bethany will share her reflections by connecting the themes of the play to her work in reproductive justice and her Peace Corps Service.
