Join us on a crisp autumn morning for a trail project with Potomac Appalachian Trail Club. PATC will lead us to a work site to assist with rebuilding the erosion control on the lower end of the Whittier Trail and working on cribbing on the nearby Valley Trail. It should be a fun work trip!
We will meet at 8:30 AM outside of the Nature Center in Rock Creek Park. PATC and National Park Service will supply all tools and direction. Dress in warm layers!
Potomac Appalachian Trail Club, through volunteer efforts, education and advocacy, maintains and protects the Appalachian Trail and nearby lands as well as acquiring and maintaining other trails and related facilities in the Mid-Atlantic region for the enjoyment of present and future hikers.
