Reenie Wagner
My primary assignment was to work with small businesses in Santiago, Dominican Republic. Projects included writing a computer training manual, and facilitating the formation of new businesses, including an export business that doubled the income of 75 artisans and a community group that built fuel-efficient stoves. I also acquired a taste for tropical fruits (particularly mangoes) and Latin dancing. Afterwards, I transitioned to doing health-related projects and survey research. I completed a Master of Science degree at Johns Hopkins University. I've been working at the U.S. Census Bureau since 2005. In my spare time I enjoy reading, swimming, playing volleyball, and a variety of cultural activities with friends and family.
