Let's get outside & beautify DC's largest urban park!
We'll join Rock Creek Conservancy for their 8th Annual Rock Creek Extreme Cleanup. Our assigned site is one of 75 trash cleanup sites along Rock Creek's 33-miles.
Transportation: Yes, this site is far from the park's more trafficked southern spaces. But the organization really needs our help at this far edge of the park. 16th St Metro buses will drop you off right by the site.
Equipment & clothing: Rock Creek Conservancy will provide gloves and bags. We request that volunteers wear long sleeves and pants and bring water.
