By The People is a free arts and dialogue festival in Washington, DC. The 2019 festival runs from June 15-23, with programming for all ages, including massive art installations, pop-up performances, curated dialogues, augmented reality artwork, and more. The festival is organized by Halcyon, a nonprofit that supports civic-minded artists and social entrepreneurs.

RCPV/W will take a group to the event on June 22. We will meet outside the Smithsonian Arts and Industries Building at 1:45 to attend a 2pm talk with visual artist Rania Hassan. We'll then explore the other many activities going on at the festival!
