Susan was born and raised in Maryland. She attended a community college and then transferred to Smith College. From 2014-2015, she taught English in Malaysia through the Fulbright ETA program. She served in Costa Rica from 2017-2019 as a youth development volunteer. She graduated with her MSW from University of Michigan in August 2020. Currently, she is working as a program analyst in DC with General Services Administration (GSA). She loves learning about different cultures, spending time outdoors, trying new recipes, and reading a good book.
