Save the date for our 2019 Winter Party at Abigail in Dupont!
This year's event will be held at Abigail, located near the intersection of 17th and M Streets NW. RPCV/W will have the whole place to ourselves from 7-11pm. The venue is conveniently located between Farragut West and Dupont Circle metros -- the use of public transportation is highly encouraged.
The event will feature a limited open bar, hors d'oeuvres, a wine toss, music, photo booth, and other surprises. Please contact our Special Events Director to request any special dietary needs or accommodations.
New 2020 Board to be Announced!
This will also be a chance to meet RPCV/W's 2020 Board of Directors! Elections will take place in November (stay tuned to our newsletter and social media for details) and the new board will be present to greet members. The out-going board will be there to pass the torch.
We are in need of three volunteers to assist with set up, logistics, and other event details. For those interested in volunteering, please email firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible.
Wine Toss and Raffle
We're bringing back the fun! This year's venue will have plenty of nooks and crannies for dancing, photo-taking, and activities! If you are willing to donate wine, or can solicit wine donations on RPCV/W's behalf, please contact Development Director Jonathan Keenan at email@example.com. We will also hold a raffle with some fun prizes -- if you have gift cards, gift baskets, event tickets, or anything of the like you'd like to donate to the cause, Jonathan will coordinate these donations. Companies interested in sponsoring the event are also welcome!
