Pre-Holiday Happy Hour & Food Drive with DC Americorps Alumni

Join us on December 6th from 6-8pm, for an evening of fellowship and socializing as we gather at what's quickly becoming our favorite spot in the city, Cause DC Philanthropub (1926 9th Ave NW - near the U Street & Shaw Metros). Bring a canned food item or two to help out the DC Americorps Alumni Food Drive collection supporting Food for Others.

Cause (causedc.org) is changing the way the world looks at charitable giving. Enjoy a drink, or some great food, and the profits are donated to different charities.

Food for Others (foodforothers.org) is Northern Virginia’s primary safety net for those needing food when an emergency strikes, and for the growing number of working poor who are unable to make ends meet and need to supplement their inadequate food supplies.
