THE PROJECT: With the support of local leadership, GEA’s current objective is to assist the small, underserved community of El Camarón in Guatemala complete the construction of their local secondary school, where 105 students are currently studying.

FUNDRAISING GOAL: After our fundraiser this spring, we were able to lay the groundwork on this project and get construction rolling! Now, our goal is to raise $20,000 at this event to purchase all the materials needed to finish the construction of two additional classrooms and equip them with computers and supplies. This project will improve the quality of secondary education in El Camarón by ensuring students have a learning environment that is conducive to their needs.
