Who's going

Let's go explore Lancaster County, Pennsylvania and the Amish Community with a unique Amish Farm Stay at Amish Acres Bed & Breakfast. From the website:

"The Amish Acres Bed & Breakfast is located in the heart of Amish Country, Lancaster County. This spacious vacation home is surrounded by organic Amish farmland and is perfect for families or small groups. It includes four bedrooms, sleeping up to 15 guests. There’s a large deck on the ground level and a balcony upstairs. Only a 15 min. drive takes you to Strasburg where you’ll find the Sight & Sound Theater and the Strasburg Rail Road. 25 min. to Dutch Wonderland, Bird in Hand & countless other attractions!

We will head up to Lancaster County, PA on the Veterans Day holiday, Friday, November 10th and stay until Sunday, November 12th. There is lots to do in and around the farm. The cost varies by bed type to be fair. The cost includes the cost of accommodation and one-dinner. We will most likely go out one night and the farm will stock the kitchen with food for breakfast (eggs, bacon, organic milk from grass-fed cows, coffee, tea, and homemade freshly baked bread). The fresh eggs are from their grass-fed chickens. There are 3 bedrooms & common areas (3 queen beds, 1 double bed, bunk bed, sofa bed & air mattresses). Here is a breakdown of the sleeping arrangements:

Queen Bed 1: $100 p/p for good friends and couples

Queen Bed 2: $100 p/p for good friends and couples

Queen Bed 2: $100 p/p for good friends and couples

Double Bed: $80 p/p for good friends and couples

Bunk 1: $75

Bunk 2: $75

Air Mattress 1: $60

Air Mattress 2: $60

Sofa: $50

We will coordinate transportation and logistics approximately 10 days prior to the event. You don't need to have a car but if you do have a car the expectation is you will help with carpools and attendees can chip in for gas.
