Who's going

Let's meet at Dupont Circle and attend the Around the World Embassy Tour PART 1 @10am. Early departure because this is one of the most popular events in DC! Please look for the white Peace Corps Flag. PART I is on Saturday, May 7th. Part II will be the following Saturday, May 14th leaving from International Square. We will host two sessions because there are a lot of embassies it multiple areas of the city and they are open the first two Saturdays of the month of May. The International Drive section near International Park isn't nearly as crowded. Both events are listed as going from 10am - 4pm but not sure the event will last that long. If we finish early, we will go to the nearest restaurant/bar for some afternoon fun.

We will include additional information in this post as we get closer to the actual date and as more information becomes available. Please wear comfortable walking shoes. We will send an email the day before with any event and weather updates. Please only sign up for both events if you are sure you can attend both otherwise, please leave room available for others to sign up. We have capped the event at 25 people because otherwise it will be challenging to lead.

Due to COVID-19 safety precautions, RPCV/W will host three types of events: events open to all participants, events open to fully vaccinated participants, and virtual events, in addition to abiding by CDC recommendations and guidelines. If you are not vaccinated due to medical or religious reasons, we welcome you to continue to attend our virtual events. If you've recently been exposed, please follow CDC and local guidelines. RPCV/W aims to create an inclusive space for all RPCVs. If you feel like we are not living up to that standard, please connect with us through [email protected].

NOTE: This is not an RPCV/W sponsored event.
