RPCVs are adaptable! That's why instead of mentoring Latino youth tomorrow we are going to get our hands dirty with Rock Creek Conservancy and help remove invasive English Ivy in Rock Creek Park! See you there!
Volunteers will remove ground ivy from the western section of Melvin Hazen Park before it has the chance to grow up trees. Tools, gloves, and training on how to identify and cut English ivy will be provided.
We will venture out for lunch after and maybe speak some Spanish.
