CrossFit is constantly varied high-intensity functional movement. If you're curious about trying CrossFit, now's your chance!
CrossFit DC is partnering with RPCV/W to provide a free CrossFit class to RPCVs and non-RPCV Veterans in the DC area. Coach Jessi Bellama (RPCV Bangladesh & Georgia) will lead this class consisting of a warm-up, a traditional CrossFit workout called a metcon (short for "metabolic conditioning"), and a cool-down with some mobility and stretching. All fitness levels are welcome; the workout is designed to be adjusted or modified to meet you where you're at.
All attendees must be pre-registered and sign a waiver.
Tips:
- Wear comfortable clothes that breathe well and that you can move in.
- Bring a water bottle.
- Bring extra clothes if you want to change before going to happy hour :)
Afterwards, we will head over to Exiles Bar (1610 U St NW, Washington, DC 20009) for happy hour drinks!
