Let's check out the HEURICH MAKER MONTH: GET CRAFTY! Ornament Making event at the Heurich House in Dupont. From the website: "Choose from a pre-made wooden winter shape and add your own artistic touch OR craft from beginning to end by sculpting your own design, adding beads and weaving the pieces together using jewelry-making tools." Event will take place at 1921. From the website, "1921 is a biergarten in our Castle Garden that serves a rotating list of fresh local craft beer from DC breweries and beer brands, craft cocktails and wine from the area’s best beverage producers, and Senate Beer, the museum’s historic revival with Right Proper Brewing Company. Gather around Oktoberfest-style tables and Adirondack chairs, sit under our shady trees or warm yourself at our fire pits and heaters, and sip on your drink while visiting HOME/BREWED, an exhibit in the carriage house featuring 1,000 objects from the Heurich brewery. 1921 supports the museum’s Education and Small Business Development programs."
