In response to RPCV calls to action in late May, RPCV/W kicked off the Racial Justice Initiative with a goal of organizing RPCVs to take action against Anti-Blackness and systemic racism. After several meetings and town halls, the initiative has created three working groups. These working groups are made up of RPCVs across the country looking to take action.
We welcome RPCVs to join our efforts to create national momentum to fight systemic racism within our RPCV community, within the Peace Corps, and in our communities. Our intention is to center Black RPCV voices, create space for personal reflection and change, and collaborate to create sustainable solutions.
