Event Overview:
Members of RPCV/W are invited to attend a free professional development workshop at Exiles Bar on U St on Thursday, April 25, 6:30-8:30. We’ll spend the first half of the workshop mapping your personal and professional trajectory to identify where your passions and skills intersect. And when we say “map” we mean it literally—bring a pen, paper, and a copy of your resume and get ready to roll up your sleeves.
You’ll craft a cohesive professional narrative that you can use as your own ‘elevator pitch’ in response to questions like “tell me a little about yourself” and “why do you want this job?” We’ll spend the second part of the workshop practicing the delivery of your narrative and honing it so you can use it at job interviews and networking events.
What to bring:
Pen and paper; a copy of your resume.
