It's been a tough year so far in the LGBTQIA community. The Trump administration is filled with horrifying appointments:

• Ben Carson once compared homosexuality to bestiality;
• Jeff Sessions once attempted to prevent an LGBT event from taking place in Alabama (he lost);
• Mike Pence once tried to prevent gay people from having pizza in Indiana (he lost too).

At Grassroots Comedy DC, we've seen enough. We're here to stand up against homophobia and bigots of all stripes with jokes, jokes and more jokes!

It's the least we can do. Literally.
