Hey everyone! I'm a new transplant to Washington DC. I moved here from southern California. I'm a returned Peace Corps volunteer from the Republic of Guinea. You've probably heard about Guinea a lot these last few years because of the Ebola Epidemic. I taught math and English there while also working on food security and malaria prevention projects.

I've done quite a few different things over the last few years, from working on spaceships and satellites to teaching. I moved here because of all the opportunities there are here to make an impact that goes beyond a single classroom or office. I hope to eventually join up with one of these inspiring groups.
