Join us on a crisp autumn morning for a trail project with Potomac Appalachian Trail Club. PATC will lead us to a work site to assist with widening a trail corridor by removing invasive plant species and making repairs to structures on the Holly Trail.
We will meet at 8:20 AM (yes 8:20am) outside of the Nature Center in Rock Creek Park. PATC and National Park Service will supply all tools and direction. Dress in warm layers!
Potomac Appalachian Trail Club, through volunteer efforts, education and advocacy, maintains and protects the Appalachian Trail and nearby lands as well as acquiring and maintaining other trails and related facilities in the Mid-Atlantic region for the enjoyment of present and future hikers.
