There is a problem with Peace Corps, and I do not mean the agency. It is with the Peace Corps community and our lack of progress sharing what we have learned with Americans -- our cherished “Third-Goal.”

Have you heard of Executive Order 11103? Of course you have, though you may know it by another name: Noncompetitive eligibility (NCE).

The Group Leaders Forum (GLF) Coordinator is an elected position of the National Peace Corps Association (NPCA). It's not an easy job, but we think we've found the best person to do it. 

We play many roles in life and by far my favorite is as the Professional Development Director for RPCV/W. 

Every year, RPCV/W gathers at the gravesite of John F. Kennedy to share a few sentimental stories and meditate on his legacy. The event is set for May 29, 2014, and this year we developed a special graphic that you can share with your friends and family.

March is Mentorship Outreach Month! Are you looking for a way to reconnect with the Peace Corps community? Remember what it was like re-adjusting to life in the U.S.? SPORTS! They are awesome, so naturally RPCV/W organizes at least one official sports team each quarter. So far we've played softball, flag football, and dodgeball. In the springtime, we'll start a kickball league and a soccer league.
