Sarah Weber served in Vanuatu as a Community Health Volunteer with the Master's International Program. She led health education and awareness programs in a rural village and served as a Health Management Advisor for the provincial health office in the capital city focused on capacity building and training village health workers.

Yes, the idea has been in the works for several months now and RPCV/W was part of the early planning. It hit the doldrums last spring, but now one or the other or both establishments might just come into being. Department of Labor Newest Federal Agency to Join Employers of National Service
In honor of Peace Corps Week 2016, RPCVs(&Friends)@DOL is thrilled to announce that the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) is the newest Federal agency to be recognized as an Employer of National Service! Employers of National Service connects Peace Corps and AmeriCorps with employers from the private, public, and nonprofit sectors. With over 400 National Service alumni, DOL is continuing to illustrate its support and promotion of national service. For National Service alumni, service never stops.

Twenty years ago, I returned from my Peace Corps service in rural Costa Rica with more than just a line for my resume. Like thousands of RPCV's around the world, I brought back meaningful relationships, powerful lessons learned, and a vigorous sense of purpose. As a result of my experience in the Peace Corps, I committed myself to a life and career of service.
