Unfazed roll out
Thanks to the time and energy of amazing people, the site is on track to launch. New pages have been added, features are being tested and we're learning to confront our fear of white space.
I lost track of what week it is
Since we're using the old site to host registrations for the Holiday Party, my time and attention have been focused there lately. These are the last changes we'll be making to the old site, so savor the moment.
Week 6: Launch schedule set
New pages are being added and we're hoping to fully switch over by January 1.
Weeks 4 + 5: Paint's dry, time to move in the furniture.
We decided on a DC-flag motif accented by shades of charcoal for the color scheme. Now to work on informational pages.
Week 3: Locking down the theme
We need to lock down a theme so we can start adding custom images and applications.
Week 2: Welcome new testers!
We invited the 100 most active members of RPCV/W to participate in the development of our new site. Welcome!
Serif vs Sans
We're experimenting with different typesets. What do you think looks good? Garamond or TW Cent MT?
Week 1: Branding and Content
We want to have the site ready to launch by October 1. Over the next few weeks, we'll be shifting through themes and migrating content from the old rpcvw.org.
Welcome to the new rpcvw.org!
